Europe’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – the backbone of our economy – face a critical challenge: adapting to the green and digital transitions while building socially sustainable workplaces. Though 90% of European businesses are SMEs, most lack the tools and skills to foster inclusivity, equity, and employee well-being. This gap isn’t just a business issue; it’s a barrier to a fairer, more resilient Europe.
Introducing CoVESSIn: Where Skills Meet Social Impact
CoVESSIn is pioneering a network of Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) dedicated to closing this skills gap. We empower VET institutions, universities, and SMEs with practical training and resources to turn social sustainability from theory into action.
How We Drive Change:

✅ Cross-Sector Collaboration: 19 partners across 6 countries (Austria, Germany, Finland, Poland, Italy, Ukraine) – uniting VET providers, universities, and SME support organisations.
✅ Real-World Impact: Piloting sustainable practices directly in SMEs, ensuring solutions that work.
